October is a special time across MRC as we celebrate Pastor Appreciation month. Residents and staff worked together to invite local clergy to an appreciation event thanking them for all that they do to fulfill the call of ministry on their lives.
These are important events for us each year because we have a core belief as a faith-based organization that a person’s wellbeing extends beyond their mental and physical wellness. We believe that the spirit also needs to be nurtured to maintain a purposeful life. That’s why the role pastors play is crucial. They come alongside us to care for the elders who live at each campus,” explained Jill Janes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
