Methodist Retirement Communities warmly welcomes every dear soul, regardless of color, disability, gender, nationality, race or religion.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR GREAT CHOICES WITHOUT COMPROMISES.
Methodist Retirement Communities include 5 apartment complexes of low-income senior housing which are subsidized by HUD (the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development). They offer comfortable 1-and 2-bedroom senior apartments, many with private patios and balconies. Budget-friendly, these residences aim to please anyone looking for a fun and fulfilling lifestyle. Well-maintained to be comfortable and attractive, these communities receive the same outstanding service our staff provides every MRC community. When each day, every staff member is committed to demonstrating a personal commitment to the principles of ICARE (integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence), it shows.

TWO CHARMING TEXAS CITIES, FIVE EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNITIES
Both Bryan and La Porte are well-known for their Texas hospitality and charm. Whether you appreciate the lush, green hills of Bryan or the soft sounds of the ocean in La Porte, you’ll find that either location feels like home when you visit an MRC Affordable Housing community.

A Message from MRC Affordable Housing’s Vice President of Affordable Housing: Joy Keels
“My team and I are honored to connect seniors in need to housing solutions that fit their budget and to services that can enhance their lives. I have served at MRC since2008and am proud that we extend such high quality services and accommodations to those with limited means. That’s the MRC difference-a culture that is centered on faith and driven by mission. It is truly inspiring to see how many lives we have been able to touch over the years. It’s more than my job, it’s my ministry.”
