TownCreek Retirement Community, located in Huntsville, Texas is a not-for-profit retirement community nestled into a wooded hill in Huntsville near the historic home of Sam Houston, hero of the Texas Revolution. The existing campus has two facilities - Parkview Place Apartments and the Ella Smither Geriatric Center (ESGC), with ESGC in the process of being redeveloped/rebuilt.
Parkview Place
Residential apartment living for active retirees over 62 who seek a self-sufficient lifestyle within a caring environment. Rent in this facility is subsidized and based on income under a HUD program. This is not part of the new development, and will continue as is after the new development.
Ella Smither Geriatric Center
Health Care - providing 24-hour nursing care for seniors needing around-the-clock nursing attention. Rehabilitative services - for residents who require physical, occupational, and speech therapy. These services will move to the new development once complete.
NEW DEVELOPMENT
This community is currently being redeveloped on a new 9-acre tract to include 28-32 assisted living apartment homes, 17-18 specialty memory support apartments for dementia and 66 skilled nursing & rehab units.
