Edgewater, MRC's beachfront community on Galveston's historic Seawall, provides residents with a "high-rise resort" lifestyle at Moody House, a residential living facility overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The new Moody House, completed in 1998, replaced the original building that had served seniors for over 35 years. As the first Methodist-related retirement community in the Texas Conference, the campus began serving seniors in 1962.
Edgewater's staff has been recognized numerous times with statewide honors by the Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging for Nurse of the Year, Certified Nursing Assistant, Dietary Services, Pastoral Care Programs, and Meals on Wheels Program.

Turner Geriatric Center
Health Care for those in need of 24-hour nursing assistance and a specially designed care unit.

In addition to exceeding state licensing standards, MRC campuses are routinely recognized with nursing and program awards from the Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, the state association for not-for-profit retirement communities.
